Town of Gessa<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Gessa is characterized by its narrow and sloping streets, by its typical Aranese houses, with ornamental fountains and old huts with a patio. The main square stands out, with the church of Sant Peir, and a medieval building from the 16th century, \u00c7\u00f2 de R\u00f3sa, a construction of military origin with a cylindrical tower. You cannot miss visiting the old lauder, the fountain on Calle Sant Mart\u00ed and the fountain on Plaza Madalena.<\/p>\n

If you like excursions, from the town there are two essential ones. In just over an hour you can reach the hermitage of San Mart\u00edn de Corilha, a construction integrated into the rock of the mountain and at about 1,800 meters above sea level. Another route passes through the Montromies cabin, a wooded area full of fir and pine trees from where different itineraries leave on foot and downhill bicycle tracks.<\/p>\n
