The town of Bagergue (102 inhabitants) is the highest in the Valley, located at an altitude of 1,419 m, in the southernmost sector of the Unh\u00f2la valley.<\/p>\n

Through its cobbled and orderly streets, you can go for a walk to visit the private museum “Eth Corrau”, a sample of 2,500 objects that reflect an ancestral culture, traditions, world of work and artisans.<\/p>\n

In Bagergue we highlight the parish church of San F\u00e9lix, initially Romanesque, from the 13th century, which underwent transformations, the original semicircular apse was replaced by a square presbytery and two chapels, a sacristy and a bell tower were added. Inside the nave we find a very primary Christ from the Gothic transition period, who expresses great pain on his face, with his head crowned with thorns and his body scourged. We also find a pre-Romanesque funerary stele of considerable importance.<\/p>\n

Following the banks of the Unh\u00f2la towards the N, a little over a km away, we find, on the left bank of the river, the small hermitage of Sta. Margarita, where a pilgrimage is held annually on July 20. At the head of the Unh\u00f2la we find the lake of Liat, the lake of Montoliu, the lake of Mauberme, which are worth visiting, making a pleasant walk on a sunny day. Following the bordering ridge with the French state, we find one of the most outstanding peaks, the Mauberme hill at 2,880 m.<\/p>\n

It celebrates the main festival for San Felix at the beginning of August, and the pilgrimage in Sta. Margarita on July 20. It has restaurant and hotel service.<\/p>\n
